Shadows…silhouettes specifically. There’s something about them that leaves me breathless every. single. time.
Driving home one evening…
We stumbled across this sight. My snapshot doesn’t even begin to show the beauty of the sunset that day! I felt compelled to seize it. I stopped smack in the middle of a two lane road to capture this image. (There was no place to pull over.) I couldn’t help but picture God’s hand painting this sky just for us!
Those who live at the ends of the earth
stand in awe of your wonders.
From where the sun rises to where it sets,
you inspire shouts of joy.
Psalm 65:8 (NLT)
If I had to do it all over again…
I would have zoomed in a bit more. Overall, I like how it turned out. I’m not a professional photographer, but I do know how to point and shoot at the sun (or light source). That is how you capture a silhouette…easy peasy! You should give it a try sometime!
I’m linking with Shadow Shot Sunday 2 if you’d like to see more amazing shadow shots.
