Pantry Shopping Fail…
I’m going into Monday all tripped up! lol

Tripping up on Monday!
Last week’s pantry shopping didn’t turn out all that great for me. I spent way too much of our grocery budget which will now make the budget even tighter for the rest of the month. [Insert “whomp, whomp” here.] This will will truly be a pantry/freezer shopping week. I’m going to try to avoid the grocery store at all cost! Let’s see what I can come up with…

Monday: Leftovers from Superbowl Sunday
Tuesday: Rice & Veggies
Wednesday: Three Bean Chili
We changed up our Superbowl Menu and had pizza instead of Chili.
Thursday: Red Lentil Chili ~ No Recipe
Another experiment. We’ve made it before but we never wrote it down. It’s delish!
Friday: Spicy Baked Oven Fries + The Healthiest Brownies On Earth

I always make enough extra for leftovers.

A Recipe Suggestion
That’s all I have for this week. I made a recipe video for this week, but the footage didn’t turn out very well. It’s back to the drawing board for me next week.
I do have a major positive though….the Bliss Balls I made from last week’s menu plan were the bomb-diggity! They were a huge hit so they will be added into our recipe rotation. Seriously, you MUST try these! Even if you don’t normally eat plant based! They turned my grocery “whomp, whomp” into a “whoop, whoop”!
The Bliss Balls are raw vegan , gluten free , and oil free! Thanks so much for the recipe, Shalom Homestead, it’s definitely a keeper! We decided to use Craisns instead of raisins and they gave it a Christmas-y taste. ♡♡♡ I also used cocoa powder, but I think I put too much on. I should have used a sifter for a lighter coating. I’ll be making these again soon! Next time I’m going to make sure I have maca powder, espresso powder, and beet root powder, for sure.
