Well, Hello There, Nashville!
We recently took a day off of homeschool and visited Music City, USA aka Nashville, TN! I didn’t visit there intending to find shadow shots, but I quickly discovered I’d run into an abundance of opportunity!
It’s a quaint, old mystical city
Where legends and idols have stood
It’s a place, where dreams come to harbor

This is the back side of the “Birth of Apollo” fountain outside of the Schermerhorn, at the heart of Music City. We happened to visit on a warm, sunny day and it was glorious!
If Music is a Place — then Jazz is the City,
Folk is the Wilderness,
Rock is the Road,
Classical is a Temple.

Gotta Gram the Shots
We were thrilled to be in the city taking advantage of the wondrous cityscape! Needless to say, my son blew up everyone’s Instagram, pausing after each shot to upload his pics.

wait until they are all you have left.”

Narnia in the City?
Why does this lonely lamppost look so familiar?
“It will not go out of my mind that if we pass this post and lantern,
either we shall find strange adventures or else some great changes of our fortunes.”
~Lucy Pevensie
Fresh Air & Sunshine
After a cold and rainy week it was so nice to be walking around outside in the sun. It rained all the next day…just in time for our zoo adventure! lol
“Keep your face to the sun and you will never see the shadows.”
~ Helen Keller
Overall, we had a delightful time together, making memories! Our only regret…Dad and Sissy weren’t with us. We will definitely be doing this again soon! If you’d like to see the video of our amazing day you can watch it here:
I’m linking with Shadow Shot Sunday 2 if you’d like to see more amazing shadow shots.
My previous Shadow Shot Sunday is here.
